The bed was pretty comfy. The central location with the fantastic Casa Bonita next door. The reasonable room rate. The staff’s responsiveness and friendliness. A lift to your floor.

The receptionist and owner is wonderfully kind, always with a smile, and incredibly helpful with any issues. Despite having a young daughter He clearly loves, he works hard to keep the place clean and running smoothly.

Ben at the reception was incredibly helpful. He organized a boat trip to Lan Ha bay, which was fantastic, as well as a trip to Cat Ba National Park with a guide named Luu, who provided a lot of information. We hiked to Ngu Lam Dinh, which was challenging but rewarding to complete. The hotel is also close to the market, where we bought plenty of food.

Cat Ba HongKong Hotel was a fantastic choice for our stay on the island. Ben greeted us warmly and went above and beyond to help us arrange tours and rent a scooter directly at the hotel. The value for the price we paid was outstanding. The hotel’s convenient location near the beaches and town center made exploring the area easy and enjoyable.

The staff at the hotel are very helpful - they supported me with information on how to travel to Cat Ba and also helped to arrange a day trip out on the boat. They also gave me the information about getting to the hotel from the ferry. A good level of English spoken. Overall the room was comfortable and had what I needed. It's a good location and easy to walk about town. Breakfast was tasty - the ginger and lemon tea one of the best i've had!

Great stay for a low price! Room was massive and very clean - very comfy beds. Breakfast was very nice. It’s also situated between two very nice restaurants - try Napoli’s for the best pizza we have had in SEA. We would highly recommend this place.

My stay at this hotel in Hong was exceptional, offering the perfect blend of comfort, security, and attentive care. Ben went above and beyond to ensure everything was taken care of. He arranged two fantastic tours, which made my experience even more memorable.

Everything was clean, the hosts super nice!! The also suggested us a day trip (kayaking at Cat Ba). It was fabulous, I recommend it!!
