The cottage is situated near two main roads, which made it easy to get buses which are punctual, the property does have parking for those whom prefer to use their own vehicles which is located behind the garden. The cottage is a typical Manx dwelling & has all the charm of it's historical position in the area, it is difficult to miss it as it is painted white & is noticeable even during low light. The kitchen has sufficient space to host a group of five or a family with children & has all the basic cooking facilities to ensure a meal is available mornings & evenings. The bedrooms are cosy cottage comfort & are extremely warm & accommodating with the period furniture which is evident throughout the property. The shared living room space can be very tight & for those whom enjoy modern living, very close & intrusive.

Location was perfect for us, rural with sheep at the bottom of the garden, cows & chickens on the opposite corner, we only heard an occasional moo not intrusive at all, in fact we didn't know they were there until the third day when we heard a single moo. Next to a main road which caused us no problems at all, very quiet at night. Private off road parking. Castletown 2 mins by car one way, port Erin 7? Mins the other. Garage with a well stocked shop just down the road. Dave the owner is good chap, we broke a toilet seat and he came and changed it assuring us it was ok and had a new one on before we could blink. He also provisionally kept accommodation available in case our boat didn't sail due to the weather which eased our minds considerably. Very comfortable accommodation, fully stocked kitchen facilities, toilet upstairs and down (mum 85!) and helpful owner, we will be returning to this cottage.

Beautiful location with scenic views. Very quiet and tranquil setting. Cottage was comfortable and quaint with Farm-style, cottagy feel decor. It had everything we needed. Hosts were friendly and helpful. We would love to stay there again if we visit the area.

Absolutely stunning little cottage in a lovely area of a beautiful island, everything you need for a holiday if you want self-catering. I will definitely be booking agsin for next year..

The location was beautiful. The house very nice, with plenty of space and very good facilities. We arrived earlier than expected, an alteration I hadn't notified the owner about. 1 phone call, quickly answered. The owner, unphased, was with us within moments, with keys and lots of useful information. Within the cottage were lots of leaflets about the Isle of Man and printouts containing bus services, etc. Bus stops, and frequent buses just opposite the gate to Cronk Darragh. Everyone we interacted with proved to be friendly and helpful. The cafes, takeaway & restaurants we used were excellent & good value

Well located with an easy 20 minute walk into town. Bus stops outside of cottage from where you can reach all destinations of the isle. Excellent for up to 4 persons. All spacious rooms. Easy check in / out.
