Beautifully appointed house with lovely gardens. Breakfast was excellent. Room was lovely, on the back with no noise. Pretty village five minutes away. Our host took us to our evening event and collected us for a very reasonable fee. Would come again.

Perfect for a weekend break for a couple: our own annex with off road parking, kitchenette supplied with tea, cafetière, coffee and fresh milk; en suite bathroom and bedroom that opened out towards the garden; a few houses down is the main house for breakfast (which is included in booking price) Amazing selection of stewed fruits, yoghurt, preserve, croissants, cereal, homemade granola, scrambled egg on toast and tea, coffee and juice. Very attentive hosts! Full English available for an extra charge but the quality and quantity excelled (local produce used) Hosts also offer a taxi service - we were taken to the venue in the early evening and collected later that evening for a reasonable charge. No Wi-Fi in the annex but we weren’t there for the Internet! A device free weekend.

Location was excellent for the Haynes Motor Museum (main purpose for our visit) but Castle Cary turned out to be a beautiful place too 🥰. Hosts were fabulous and so welcoming & friendly, and Willow was lovely too! As for the legendary Coffee & Scrambled eggs - all the reviews were true. The complete breakfast spread was awesome too - thank you Melanie & Martin!
