Cannot express just how wonderful the owners are. The room is in the absolute centre of Castiglione, yet it is quiet. Breakfast in the owners cafe is great-excellent coffee and everything so fresh. Plus there's an amazing selection of teas for the room. An absolute gem.

Mira and her husband were two of the most hospitable, kind and generous hosts I have ever encountered. Their warmth and kindness helped make my stay as special as it was. The room is situated right in the old centre, and so it is a perfect location to reach the lake, which is a lovely 10-minute stroll. The restaurant they also run is worth a visit. It overlooks the lake, so it's perfect setting to sit, eat and admire all that beauty. There, I had a lovely steak and some of the best chianti I've ever had! Also more of Mira's incredible warmth and generosity of spirit, which was unparalleled on my trip. Thank you both so much for a most memorable and wonderful stay! May our paths cross agian in the future! :) Amanda
