Perfection is the word to describe the house, the surrounding immaculate gardens, the warmth of the hosts. Mornings were greeted by a generous breakfast made up of local specialties - from savoury to sweets - left by the host before we even woke up. This was complemented by fresh eggs laid by chickens in the property and good Italian coffee from an automated machine. The position within 4mins from Castelvetrano was strategic to allow access to plenty of supplies and importantly, to the daily exploration of the several interesting cities, visiting points and the beaches in relatively close reach - from Marsala to Agrigento. Returning 'home' at the end of the day to the charming and quietness of a most private property was a special treat.

Our stay at "The Dimora" was lovely. We were met by Catarina on our arrival which was seamless. We were shown around the house and Olive Grove grounds which were beautiful and comfortable. The pool was a major bonus given the heat. Lots of different seating areas with shade. The addition of a chicken coop provided fresh eggs each day, which provided the makings of a delicious lunch. The loviest breakfasts were provided by Massimo each day. Thank you for our tour through Sicilian cheese. The BBQ in the garden was ideal for cooking fish and meat from the local market. Thank you to you both for a lovely holiday, all your kind efforts were most appreciated.

We were very lucky with this property and its price! It’s completely private and secure. Amazing garden with two terraces, very well looked after. Orange blossom in full bloom when we were there. Chicken in the cage in the garden as an extra bonus :) very impressive breakfast. We wish to stay longer
