Absolutely perfect stay, lovely helpful staff, rooms very clean and comfortable with everything you could need. The location was incredible, right on the beach front. Bicycles , sun loungers and paddle boards were available to use with no hire fee which was so fun! The cafe was also lovely and there were so many toys and facilities for little ones. Couldn’t reccomend more and would 100% return. The hotel and whole area was also very accessible for wheelchairs and those with more complex access requirements which a a further bonus.

We stayed in a superior studio apartment 002 on the ground floor. The photos on booking,com are very accurate. We loved it here!! Great shower. All we needed in the kitchen including toaster and kettle, chopping board Fantastic customer service from reception. We dealt mostly with Katya who was amazing – lots of down to earth information - you can ask the team anything you like. Bikes were great to ride along the extensive promenade. You can take sun loungers out onto the beach too. Bed comfortable, wi fi good. We parked right outside the door for free as we were there during the week. Apparently at weekends you have to pay so it might be best to book parking for E10 per night in the apartment's open-air parking in the grounds at the back where there are sunshades. We didn't have little people with us but they have a whole room full of toys to keep them busy. We explored Barcelona by catching the L95 bus into Catalunya Square which costs E2.55 for the hours ride. You can get a multi-ticket for E11.50 which is good value & more than one person can use it. We decided to buy an Hola card which promised as many journeys as you like in either 24 or 48 hours on all methods of transport. HOWEVER the bus from Casteldefels to the city is not covered!!! So if you buy an Hola card you will still have to pay E2.55 for every journey back and from Marfina Apartments. PS They sell the multi-ticket - we wished we'd bought 2 of them instead of the 2 Hola tickets!

The staff are all very friendly and welcoming, the apartment and communal areas are kept beautifully clean and it is a terrific location. It was a real bonus to have the free use of bicycles, sunbeds and parasols. We would happily recommend Marfina.
