Everything! The guest house has an attractive traditional tile and wooden interior. We had a very comfortable good-sized room with a large double bed, ensuite and balcony (shared with next door room). The guest house is high above the Duoro Valley and the views of this beautiful landscape are stunning. Special shout-out to Orchidea, the staff member who looked after us so well. She produced lovely (cold) breakfasts including her home-made jams and cake. An evening meal is also available on request, which is handy as there are no restaurants in the village. Be aware that the village lies about 3 miles above Pinhao and the road up the hill is extremely steep with hairpin bends. We walked down to Pinhao through the vineyards - a lovely 40 minute walk - and back up again, but it's very steep.

The breakfast was very good. We were not given a "view" room, but the views from the town were magnificent. Well worth the drive up.
