The fine print
Please note that each child is charged 50% of the adults' fee.Guests should include their invoicing details (name, address and VAT number) in the Special Requests box when booking.Please note that the use of swimming cap is compulsory for the indoor swimming pool and hot tub.Please note that pre-payment is charged at the time of the reservation.Please note that guests must communicate food intolerance, if any, 24 hours prior to arrival.During the winter season, due to low occupancy, our services will unfortunately be limited!
Therefore, from the 1st of November until end of March, the restaurant will only be open for breakfast and after that the restaurant and kitchen will be closed, so there will be no additional services such as lunch, bar or dinner.
However, there is a room service menu available in the room from 12pm to 9pm, which must be requested at least 1 hour in advance.
As for the spa, massages and treatments are not available, but you can use free of charges the heated indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath, gym and outdoor pools.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Great location, next to the beautiful beach surrounded by cliffs. Spa center and heated indoor pool. Spacious rooms with little lovely garden. Very comfortable beds. Staff were helpful. Big variety breakfast with a lot of fruits and bakery ( thank you for gaining extra weight:)

We booked this hotel for a three day break, driving to the Algarve from our house just north of Lisbon. We are very familiar with all things Portuguese, and everything at Vila Alba was excellent. The ultra modern sea view suite was fabulous (shame there were only 4 hangars in the wardrobe!), wonderfully comfortable, and immaculately cleaned each morning at our chosen time. The restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner was also excellent, with delightful attentive staff, and a sea view to die for. The whole resort is really quite spectacular with imposing architecture and a real feeling of style and quality. There is a small beach which is a few minutes walk down the cliff path, which definitely is not child buggy/wheelchair friendly. The long narrow approach road is not for the nervous driver, but on the plus side, there is very little unwanted traffic to spoil the tranquility of the resort.

The one thing this place has is a stunning location. It is in plenty of space and is close to the beautiful arch of Albandeira, Benagil beach & a few lovely restaurants. Fortunately, the pizza bar at Albandeira beach has been revamped & is still a wonderful spot for lunch or an informal, early dinner.

The location was good for visiting the coastline which is highly recommended. Superb local restaurants within 15 minutes drive. Easy walk to the local beach and along the coastal paths. The swimming pool had plenty of loungers and (in September) was not crowded. Excellent gym. Accommodation was spacious and clean.
