The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Difficult to regulated the temperature of water in shower. Warm towel rail. Good teas and coffees in the room. Breakfast food was delicious.

Lovely hotel. Great brekkie! Only issue was the size of the bed, but we booked a small room as only staying for one night. It was great for what we needed!

Cavendish arms is in a good location in Cartmel Square, the staff are lovely and very helpful, good choice of food, which is excellent, reasonably priced, room is excellent and clean, very pleased with my stay, which is the 2nd visit, thoroughly recommended.

The room was more than adequate for the two of us, very clean and d a great view out the window. Everyone working there was very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Thoroughly recommend!

Lovely old pub in the centre of town Good communication from the owner. Very good food available in the dining room. Very pleasant outside area by the river for a drink.

Quaint, beautifully decorated, wonderful Cavendish Arms. A very inviting atmosphere embraces the exceptionally high standard presented here. From the lovely comfortable bed and selection of delightful loose tea in the room, to the cosy fire, delicious food and cocktails to the wonderful staff who were sooo nice
