“Great relaxing stay”

Overall great, I would recommend if you are looking to escape the city and relax. The location feels very private and we got to fully relax compared to being in Cartagena, which was madness. We spent a couple of nights there and new years, expect quite times and nothing wild. The breakfast was pretty basic but it did the job. Great to be provided with beach towels everyday (do place them as fast as you can on the sunbed of your choose before the first boat arrives at 10:00 as it gets busy) The staff members were very polite and accommodating. The fish burger was our favourite meal in the menu. Great for swimming and taking the sup around, we really enjoyed being in the water for most of the day.

Fragata Island House is the perfect escape if you're looking to truly disconnect from the world and immerse yourself in nature. Located on a beautiful island, the hotel is accessible by a scenic 1-1.5 hour boat ride from Cartagena, making it a truly secluded and tranquil retreat. The service, rooms, and overall hospitality were exceptional, with the staff—especially Andres, Christina, and the entire team—being incredibly friendly and attentive, always going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The property itself is vast, with both a peaceful backwater side and a beautiful beach area, providing plenty of space to relax and unwind. While you can't venture off the island, the hotel’s serene atmosphere and stunning surroundings more than make up for it. The food was also a highlight—both breakfast and dinner were delicious, offering a great taste of local flavors. The only downside is the transportation cost, as you can only reach the hotel and leave via the hotel’s arranged boat ride, which costs about $100-120 USD for two people. However, this did not detract from our overall experience. If you're visiting Cartagena and looking for a place to recharge, Fragata Island House is a perfect 2-night getaway. It’s a serene, beautiful, and rejuvenating destination that I highly recommend!

the three nights on Isla Marina were a pleasant escape from the hustle and bustle of Cartagena. Fregatta Island House is a small resort and definitely worth a visit. The room we had was clean and had good air conditioning and fan. Thanks in part to the good care of Carlos C. it were 4 wonderful days! ❤️🦋❤️
