There was nothing NOT to like.. breakfast is pretty standard fare, as can be expected but dinner was lovely with a lot of attention to detail; well prepared and carefully presented and served. As non-alcohol drinkers we had a lovely choice of juices, freshly made on the premises.

The Château de Maubreuil is a truly amazing 5-star hotel located on a huge estate just outside of Nantes. The decoration of the entire hotel and your room will take you back in time. This theming around the former lord of the manor is done down to the smallest detail. The breakfast is rich and fresh, and the restaurant offers very tasty French cuisine for dinner. While we were unable to use the outdoor pool due to weather conditions, the hotel's spa in the basement is a very relaxing place. The gardens around the Caste are amazing and offer exciting opportunities for a walk.

What an extraordinary experience. 7 years to renovate this incredible estate and chateau with the latest in technology, high quality interior decoration, style, luxury and comfort. And that is just the inside! the extensive grounds, gardens, pool, art and spa were great joy, and great value. We are coming back next year, and look forward to their continued expansion. Superb and accommodating, discreet staff. Pure class! Raising the bar for Relais & Chateau.

Really lived up to expectations. The rooms were amazing and the bath revitalising. Breakfast amazing. Hot section, breads, jams and cheeses, meat and savouries. The setting and gardens beautiful.

Wonderful hotel, we loved our themed room. The pools looked great but we didn't have great weather. We loved our 2 days here.
