From the minute I booked, the owner was helping me with directions and gave me an up to date weather forecast- it had been snowing quite heavily where I was travelling from. All the staff were good fun and interacted well with us

Breakfast was a splendid feast! Granola, Meusli, Yoghourt, Jams and Bread all home made. Sitting room with a roaring fire, and loads of books to read. An extensive superior wine list, and of course the draught Guinness!

What an absolute treat it was to stay here. It is a beautiful setting with gardens and the pond and our room was gorgeous. Ten out of ten for everything, cleanliness, linen, bed, bath, breakfast (amazing), staff and ambience. We will most certainly be back! Unfortunately we couldn't book dinner there as we stayed on a Monday but had a lovely restaurant recommended. We will be booking in for a dinner package next time, can't wait!

Breakfast was delicious and lots of choice. The bars and shops were walking distance. Ghan House was first rate.
