Built within a building that once served as a Sanatorium belonging to the Portuguese Armed Forces, due to the excellent quality of the air at 800 metres above sea level, this idyllic location will certainly guarantee days of enchanting tranquillity, ensuring that the time following your stay will be filled with great energy and productivity. The 87 comfortably air-conditioned and well-equipped rooms provide a cosy and pleasant base for your stay.

Directly opposite the Museu de Caramulo this comfortable and clean resort hotel has every facility, friendly and attentive staff, an excellent buffet breakfast, and represents excellent value for money.

It must have a wonderful view, but I arrived after sunset and it was rainy and foggy the next morning… Staff were pleasant and the room was big with a view on the valley

Great shower, beautiful interiors if often poorly maintained, amazing location. Plenty of parking space. Very quiet environment. Large rooms and comfortable beds. Nice pool. Reasonable gym, but looking stuffy and abandoned.

It is a quiet beautiful place. The stuff is superb. There is a very good gym, a clean outside pool and an equally clean internal pool. The place is old, but it hits the best expensive hotels equally.
