Located in the heart of the Daintree Rainforest, Heritage Lodge - in the Daintree offers air-conditioned cabins with private balcony and outdoor seating.

Overlooking Cooper Creek and the lodge swimming pool, On The Turps offers modern Australian cuisine using local produce.
Each cabin includes a TV, DVD player and fan. Table and chairs are provided on the private balconies for spotting birds, butterflies and musky rat kangaroos.
Heritage Lodge - in the Daintree is located only 15 km north of the Daintree River Ferry Crossing. Port Douglas is a 1-hour drive away.

Thought the experience was great, no phone or Internet or Tv, but in such a remote place to have great food for all meals was a bonus

Wonderful location for exploring the Daintree. Great staff - very welcoming and shared tips for places to explore in the area. The two water holes were great to relax in of an afternoon after being out for the day. We all enjoyed our meals at the restaurant.

The breakfast was very simple with juice and toast. The bread was fresh though. It was very simple life up that way so we understand the normal hotel breakfast standard is not to be expected
