Everything was so perfect it was unbelievable! The hotel and facilities were amazing and extremely comfortable and we have never stayed anywhere where all of the staff were consistently friendly and efficient.

Beautiful garden with magnificent view of the mountain. Pool complex and gymnasium is modern clean and luxurious. Large comfortable rooms. Although the hotel was full it never felt crowded.

I first visited this hotel about 25 years ago. It's a lovely old hotel that has been stylishly updated and decorated whilst preserving the charm of the original. It's extremely comfortable and wonderfully peaceful, with great mountain views from the delightful terrace and some of the rooms. The rooms are restful, the beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are great with walk-in shower and bath. The grounds are beautiful.. I could happily have stayed much longer.

Beautiful hotel in secluded area of Newlands. Staff exceptional in making you welcome and relaxed. Extensive menu of exceptional meals using local produce. Stunning gardens, large, comfortable room.
