We stayed at this stunning hotel for the final night of our South African honeymoon, and we could not have been happier! The hotel went above and beyond to allow an early check in, and gave us a room with a stunning view. The location truly is breathtaking and we loved relaxing with a book around the pool. The breakfast was delicious and filling and the staff were beyond great. Couldn’t recommend more!

We enjoyed our stay at the Villa Lion View so much last year that we really wanted to come back this year - and it was a dream again! The whole hotel has an elegant style and thoughtful design, and the view is simply breathtaking. The rooms are spacious and offer an atmosphere that immediately made us feel at home. Breakfast is a real highlight: it is lovingly arranged on towers for each table, and you can also choose delicious extras from a breakfast menu. The new rooms are also beautiful - we loved the combination of natural materials and the harmonious color palette. We were particularly impressed by the view from room number 8, which is truly magnificent through the corner windows. The gym is modern, stylish and inviting, leaving nothing to be desired. The pool area also invites you to linger and relax. The peace and quiet there, combined with the fantastic view of the green hills and vibrant Cape Town in the distance, is simply heavenly. The whole team is extremely friendly and accommodating. Peter is a great host and a huge thank you goes to Elijah for his wonderful care. We can highly recommend Villa Lion View and will definitely be back!
