Great location, fantastic views of table mountain, and very comfortable, large and clean rooms. Amy is what makes Walden House special though - she couldn’t do enough for us, and was incredibly helpful both before our trip with helping us to organise trips etc., and during our stay every day from breakfast til close, she was always available and happy to help.

The location is so convinient. Is quiet but still everything is right in front of your door and you can even walk home from the restsurants after dark. Its very tasteful decorated, very airy and light and still a lot of bright colours. I loved my room which was so spacey and next to a little park. I had the best sleep and Amy, the lady in charge of everything took so excellent care of me. You felt like there is always someone there for you while you had the utmost privacy.

The room was spotless. Amy was so accommodating, and very kindly organized for me to have an extra early breakfast. The room was warm and comfortable and I felt safe staying there, which was important as I was alone.
