No tissues in room. Towels not dried/replaced on a daily basis. Bed not made PROPERLY on a daily basis. Kitchen staff could not handle specific food orders . Slow, tardy service. Partial seaview and listening to the sea at night totally blissful. Reception staff second to none. Always friendly and helpful.

They didn't refill any of the biscuit containers in the room or the passage. Very disappointing. Also, would be nice if the windows were double-glazed or something, the noise from the main road was disruptive.

Very close to Kalk Bay. Parking right outside. Room bright and comfortable, staff friendly. Overall a lovely stay , would book again.

Shout out to Emma and Jean-Claude who were so welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The coffee and breakfast was amazing, as were the home made cookies in the room (a lovely touch). The hotel is in an amazing location, a short walk from the amenities and shops in Kalk bay and opposite a beach.

This is a great place to stay in St James / Kalk Bay and excellent value. The staff were helpful and friendly, and you are close to lovely tidal pools and restaurants in the area
