Warm, accommodating owner and staff. Inside, I enjoy the pan-African feel. Outside, the building, the square and the view are quaint and picturesque.

The location is great, very central and some nice food and drink options on your doorstep. Maria's is an institution and we went there straight away for mezze. The breakfast at iKhaya was basic but a nice filler to start the day on, and the staff are lovely - very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is full of interesting details, in an excellent location, and within walking distance of the city center. The room has a comfortable bed. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room has no air conditioning or fridge, but this was not stated on the booking either.

iKhaya Lodge has the nicest people and they always treated us really well. We liked the artwork that gave an authentic touch to the lodge.
