The Lodge was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hosts were extremely helpful and a minel of useful information. The staff were friendly and efficient. There was a pleasant garden and patio area, and access to a kitchen area which made the Lodge feel more like a home than a room. It was a twenty minute walk to the Wharf, but there were bars, cafés, a supermarket and a superb deli on the doorstep.

A Cozy Gem in Green Point I had a delightful stay at Altona Lodge in the heart of Green Point, Cape Town. The lodge combines a warm and welcoming atmosphere with a fantastic location, making it an excellent choice for travelers. The location is unbeatable, especially for solo travelers like myself. Being within walking distance of the vibrant V&A Waterfront, CBD, and easily accessible public transport options (although I mostly used Uber) made exploring the city incredibly convenient. The quiet, safe neighborhood added to the charm, and I appreciated the proximity to cafes and supermarkets. The accommodation was cozy and thoughtfully designed. My room was clean, classically furnished, and equipped with all the essentials, including a flat-screen TV, safe, mini fridge, and even international plug points. The warm décor created a relaxing space to unwind. The kitchen was well-organized and available during designated times, and the complimentary tea-and-coffee-making setup was a lovely touch. Breakfast, which can be arranged for an additional cost, was served in a bright and cheerful dining room and was a perfect start of the day. The staff were exceptionallyfriendly and accommodating, especially Michael, always ready to assist.Their hospitality truly enhanced my stay. Overall, Altona Lodge is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable, and conveniently located place to stay in Cape Town. It is especially great for solo travelers who value a safe and welcoming environment. I would highly recommend it and look forward to returning in the future!

Michael & the staff were very helpful and made us feel as if we were at home and not a lodge. Would recommend the play anytime and will definitely return again. Area very central to walk to Waterfront and Sea Point.
