The location was a dream, like you were absorbed into the past. So peaceful with not a soul around except us. Although the amenities weren't modern the hosts had thought of everything. A night with no internet, phones or technology was really welcome. The breakfast provision was absolutely perfect and eating it in front of the lighthouse, on a sunny day was bliss.

Away from everything and close to nature. History of the place and overall experience. Well restored facilities and comfortable bed.

Amazing spot! Travelled as a family group (3 kids under 8 ,& 5 adults) stayed in the 4 bedroom lodge. Awesome family time. Plenty of space. Modern amenities but it still maintains the heritage feel. My favourite part was watching the sunset from the radar station or having a drink and picnic on the lawn at dusk. After the gates close to the public, you have the entire place to yourselves. Lots of wallabies came out in the evenings too. Climbing the lighthouse was alot of fun, kids loved counting all the steps and I loved soaking up all of the stories, shipwreck history and scones from the cafe. Loved it all. Thanks for having us.
