Nice quiet location, very conveniently situated without being in the thick of it!! We like the traditional style of the building which is in keeping with its history & pub charm.

Staff fine. But entries tricky, so raising anxiety on arrival where there weren't any Staff at all. Only one bedside light. In 3, bedroom door wouldn't close, then automatic hall light comes through when trying to sleep.

The inn was very quaint and clean, our room was tidy and the bathroom clean. The breakfast was nice and the staff were very helpful, cheerful, and kind. A very short walk into town and near the train station. Would stay at the inn again :))

Very pleasant clean room with nice on-suite. Easy check-in via the emailed door and room key code. Excellent location for the Marlowe theatre and rail station. Early breakfast requested at 7am with no problems. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order and so nice to actually get a proper tea pot rather than those leaky stainless steel monstrosities. Overall excellent value.
