“Wonderful short stay in Canterbury”

Rooms above a former pub. Room was very clean and comfortable and quiet (Room 7). Room had tv and tea/coffee making plus a fridge, so everything you could want. We only saw staff for breakfast, but self check-in was easy. Breakfast was very good. Location was fab, less than 10 minutes from the station and the gate to the city centre. I would happily return if visiting Canterbury again.

The instructions were good, location is good. Staff when there, were nice. Fruit added daily in the lobby to take. Full Breakfast was good. When we arrived, the room & bathroom looked clean. Extra heater.

We had one of the twin rooms next to the garden, and walking out into the garden in the morning was lovely. We also liked the slight 'locked room mystery' feel of coming in late and following the instructions to get the key. We also had the full English breakfast, which was really good - although we were tempted by all the stuff out for the continental breakfast.

Staff were lovely at breakfast, but didn't see anyone after ten. Everything was done on line. Room was clean and bed comfortable although duvet was coming apart in places. Overall a good location.
