Hotel Overview

In 2 acres of landscaped gardens, Abbots Barton Hotel has a traditional restaurant and elegant rooms with free Wi-Fi. The hotel is just outside Canterbury centre, half a mile from Canterbury Cathedral.
The bright, spacious bedrooms are individually decorated, and each has a flat-screen TV. All rooms feature a modern bathroom with free toiletries.
The Best Western Abbots Barton Hotel is just a 5-minute walk from St Lawrence Cricket Ground. There is free on-site parking, and Dover Ferry Terminal is just a 20-minute drive away.
Whilst we currently complete some refurbishment across the hotel, the restaurant and bar will be closed during the refurbishments, but we have arranged a light room service menu.

Hotel is being renovated to a high standard bar area is very plush room was fabulous nice high end fittings I'm sure once fully done it would easily be a 4 star rating only 10 minutes from town centre.

The refit of the hotel is looking lovely. We like the new colours, we have visited a few times and thought how run down it was looking. Staff were polite and saw to all our needs. Had no idea the bar didn’t open till 5 but the guy at reception kindly poured us some drinks. Maybe a sign on the bar stating this might help.
