The property is beautiful.. we arrived late at night but even in the dark it was well lit and I could see the gardens were stunning. In the morning we walked through the gardens to get to breakfast and I was so impressed with the range of plants and trees. The pool was very inviting, especially in the heat! Our room was perfect for us both, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I had an uninterrupted sleep which was very much appreciated after a long day travelling. The staff were approachable, accommodating and lovely to speak with. We especially enjoyed our chats with Anita, Sunil and Raja. Had we known how wonderful this place was, we would have absolutely booked to stay longer. If we return to Goa we will be returning - but for longer!

The hotel is set in among the trees which made it feel like you were in the tropics- which we liked! The meals were great- freshly cooked on the premises. The beach is only a very short walk away and is clean. The staff are super friendly and helpful. A great place to spend time relaxing. The buffet breakfast was limited for choices on the continental side but we enjoyed the menu breakfasts a lot more. The only real disappointment was that this lovely place didn’t have a coffee machine, which I’m sure most Western travellers would appreciate!

The hotel was in an excellent location for our needs, very quiet and less than 10 minutes walk from a deserted beach. The hotel was boutique in style with 19 rooms although there was less than 50% occupancy all the time we were there. The staff were very friendly and super helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Sunil, the manager contacted us the day before checking in to make sure we had everything we needed to make our stay pleasurable and then checked in with us every day to make sure we were happy or just for a chat. The hotels moto is “relax you are in Goa”, they really mean it and go out of their way to make it happen.

We really liked the kindness and hospitability of the staff. We came from a more luxurious resort were staff was less warm. Also the cocktails which were so good, best we've had in India. The resort provides bikes which was very good for us to go to a store or nearby beach. The prices were great, and the food in the restaurant was very good and freshly cooked. The pool was clean, with enough beds and towels provided. When we had to catch a train very early on check out day the manager made a to go bag with sandwiches, water and bananas which was so kind and amazing!

The pool and gardens are lovely. Close to a quiet beach. Bikes need maintenance, and some of the room features need upkeep too - just little things like batteries in remotes and checking things work. Staff are very friendly and helped me with many things, like planning a boat trip, medical supplies, and even a packed breakfast on my organised transfer to the airport!

The rooms were clean and all facilities worked. All staff were extremely friendly and very accommodating. We had a late flight and they let us keep our rooms free of charge all day, which was really kind of them. We'll definitely stay again.

The Resort is placed in a wonderful garden with beautiful trees and a lovely pool area. It is a perfect place to relax and enjoy South Goa. We loved it so much that we spent most of our time in the ressort. The breakfast was very nice. The restaurant has a large menue and the food was very tasty. The staff is extremly kind and helpful. Sunil the hotel manager fullfilled all our wishes. My friend had his birtday and Sunil organised a birthday cake and they decorated the room. Splendid experience!!! We will definately return.

Palmeiras Dourado best is its location. Situation in a calm surrounding and walkable to the beachcomber makes it a place to often. Equipped with restaurant, Bar and facilities needed for the stay, the place is comfortable and feels safe. Good place for a solo walk around the places. The staff are super friendly and always on Ready-mode to assist. Sunil is an asset to this asset - he was super helpful, guiding and ensured we get all services on time. Well done.
