The staff are amazing. They knew we booked for a birthday get away and left a nice card and bottle of wine in the room for when we arrived.

This location is perfect for walking to all around town to enjoy restaurants, shops and little hikes around the creek. The room has everything you need. It's not fancy but it's clean with a good size fridge, coffee maker and a couple of little seating/table areas. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Since the location is in town, we did have some noise from the street as we were on the ground floor but that is to be expected. We travelled with our dog and it was great to be right next to the creek and trails. It was also a nice bonus that they don't charge extra for pets. We will be back!

The Drake Inn is one of the oldest hotels in Canmore and as such some things are a little tired. However, the room was large, clean and had a great view across water and towards the mountains. Locally produced toiletries from Rocky Mountain Soap Company were a bonus and we didn't expect a mini-fridge. The Drake Inn is also centrally located and within easy walking distance of restaurants/bars, etc., if one prefers to go off-site and explore.

The view was amazing. The staff were amazing. My battery died, and the receptionist called the boss to come help and he wouldn't accept payment. It was close to everything we needed. The balcony was a bonus to enjoy the view. Beds were comfortable.

We booked this motel last minute because it was cheap, it turned out to over exceed our expectations. The staff was super friendly and the attached pub had live music and free cover with your stay.
