Great location very nice in the green and quiet. The dogs were super cute. The room modern and clean. Comfortable bed. Very good breakfast with good selection. Very nice hosts. Definitely recommend it!

It was a beautiful place in the middle of the mountains. The breakfast was delicious and staff were super friendly. Pictures don’t do it justice - it’s really lovely.

Beautiful property with lovely hosts. The breakfast spread is fantastic with lots of options, including fresh eggs, fruits, yogurt, fresh breads and pastries. We had dinner at the quinta and also ordered sandwiches to take with us on hikes. All of the food was plentiful and delicious. I found the mattresses to be too hard at most places we stayed in Portugal, but the beds were comfortable at Quinta do Barbedo.

This is a beautiful place to stay. It is family run and the food, service and ambience is second to none. The grounds are stunning as are the rooms and the home cooking is some of the best I have ever tasted. The staff were so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. The surrounding areas and villages are beautiful and well worth visiting too. We will definitely be back next year!
