I absolutely loved my stay here! Gaby and the other ladies made me feel extremely at home and they always had smiles on their faces. The room was beautiful, very clean and quiet. The pool was a tranquil spot, great to escape the craziness of Canggu! Gaby even gave me a bar of soap when I left, and a contact for my next destination which was extremely kind. Would highly recommend (perfect for solo female travellers).

Nice guesthouse, located in a side street next to a very busy area with a lot of bars, restaurants, and shops. Therefore, it is not really quiet at day or night - but the perfect location for young people who want to experience Canggu nightlife.

The stay at Papaya guesthouse was just amazing. The place is like a little oasis amidst a busy Canggu. The staff (Ilu, Putu, Komang, Agung) and Gaby (owner) were always ready to help you with any need you might have. I highly recommend anyone who wants to have a restful time — with some pool time and balcony chilling, but also the ability to walk to many great cafes and even to Batu Bolong beach (takes around 20-25 minute walk, but just a couple minutes on the scooter), to definitely check out Papaya Guesthouse. Thanks Gaby and everyone for making me feel at home! I will definitely be back : )
