Location.. right on the beach.. we could have a morning swim and head to the restaurant for coffee and breakfast. Boats to take you out Virgin beach and fishing right there. The staff at the hotel and the Restuarant were just amazing. The food was always fresh, tasty and well presented.

This was my first stay at Alam Candi and it was perfect. What a gem of a place. Having visited Candi Dasa a few times my plan for this trip was to be beach side so Alam Candi was perfect. With about 12 individual "villas" surrounded by lush gardens, waterways and being located right on the beach it was awesome. The staff were really lovely from check-in, the restaurant, around the pool, always available and couldn't have been more friendly.

Very cramped space, very tired accommodation, the mosquito net (which is really just decorative) was very dirty. Tired towels. A small hotel. I stayed one night. There’s a lot better in Candidasa, good for one night.

We stayed at Alam Candi at the end of our honeymoon and my goodness were we blown away by not only the accommodation and facilities but by the incredible staff. The attention to detail was incredible and the level of hospitality unpresidented, to the point where we will now forever compare future establishments to them. We doubt we will ever be so impressed, so much so that we now use the term 'But are they Alam Candi level hospitable ?'. This compliment isn't given lightly as we have travelled around the world and stayed at 5 star establishments. The photos do not do the place justice, it is even more lovely in real life, you will simply have to go and see it for yourself to believe it. It is the epitome of 'value for money ' and more. We will forever be grateful to the wonderful staff for making our stay truly magical.
