The fine print
Credit cards issued to people other guest (i.e., parent, spouse, etc.) are not accepted in Mexico. Student / Youth policy (YEAR ROUND) Student / Youth Travelers are defined as any guest 24 years of age and younger traveling without legal parent / guardian and is applicable at ALL Oasis properties on a year round basis.As a general rule, the Grand Oasis Cancún will be the only property that will accept Student / Youth GROUPS (not applicable to family travel). Any guests meeting the above definition of Student / Youth Traveler are subject to the following conditions: § Upon check-in, passengers will be required to pay a one-time Student / Youth resort fee (charges may vary). Policy is mandatory, per person and not refundable.Operator is obligated to inform all Students/Youths of this charge. Minimum age requirement for hotel check-in is 18 years of age. All rooms require one person that is at least 18 when occupied by a 17 year old passenger. All students under the legal age of 18 require a notarized consent from parent/legal guardian providing authorization and taking responsibility for the guest. No passenger under the age of 17 years of age is allowed to occupy any room without a parent or legal guardian accompanying them. Any student group traveling with guests under the age of 18 will require chaperon(s). One chaperon is required per 1-19 students/youths under the age of 18. The minimum age requirement for a chaperon is 25. All students will be assigned a special bracelet for ID purposes; this policy is applicable year round. Please note the legal drinking age in Mexico is 18. A mandatory environmental fee and a resort fee per room per stay will be charge upon check in.Buffet breakfast included.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

Excellent rooms. Large, clean, cool a/c. Lacks a fridge but other than that, top notch. Had a couple of minor issues that were quickly fixed. Pool area is outstanding, cleaned daily, was not too busy so easy access to chairs, cabanas, towels. Decent bar and some lunch options (taco, sushi, pizza). The only issue for me was that on days when DJ was there, it was too loud for the audience. Urban Oasis side includes a nice breakfast. Easy walk to decent restaurants on Nador St, local bus stop to go to Hotel Zone (only 12 pesos, easy to use), currency exchange right across street, grocery store on corner (5 min walk). Guests and staff friendly, much appreciated both.

Beautiful pool area with hot tubs and cabanas that can be used at no extra cost. It was also pretty quiet, so lots of space and seats available. The staff were also exceptional in supporting me during the trip.

The location is perfect to get to the downtown area of Cancun - walking distance. It’s about a 5-10 minute drive to the beach (which is stunning - entrance near coco bongo). It’s about a 20 minute drive from the airport. The rooms are spectacular very high quality and have everything you need - beach towels, coffee, toiletries, hair dryer, slippers, comfortable beds, excellent A/C. The pools are fantastic and lots of space. The hotel and rooms are extremely clean. The staff are so kind and allowed us to extend our stay. Breakfast had a lot of choice.

Room was good size and comfortable. Booked for 3 nights but stayed for 10. Had to move out of first room due to leaking shower, but accommodated by front desk. Stayed on pool view side, quiet with no street noise. Very nice pool area, friendly staff, good downtown location (safe & walking distance to banks, restaurants, bars). Breakfast was more than adequate. Good expresso at lobby coffee shop. Able to access 2 beachfront Oasis properties with day pass from concierge. Strong wifi on site. New fitness area just opened, well equipped. All in all, a great stay, will return.
