“A nice enough hotel, quite good value for money, I would guess some families come back year on year”

It is a traditional Portuguese hotel, with a family feel and a slightly dated feeling. Everything is there, just not always that great. Staff were friendly and we managed in my bad portuguese and their limited english. I needed to borrow a charger and they had one. That's very good.

My Dad and I arrived and were greeted by the friendly hotel staff. We were impressed by the beauty of the hotel and its surroundings. The room was large and accommodating. We ate lunch in the dining room and the food was delicious and service was excellent. The breakfast in the morning was exceptional. One of the staff members called and reserved a winery tour for us. Great staff! The only regret we had was that we wished we could have stayed longer.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. While the hotel is certainly not new, it is clean and the rooms are spacious. The breakfast buffet was decent. They also have a nice pool.
