We had a great stay at Maria guesthouse. 100% recommend and we would love to come back again. The location was 3 min walking distance to the beach and was surrounded by restaurants and shops. Very convenient for us. Even though the location is very central, it was quiet in the night and we always had a good night's sleep. Our room was very clean and had a nice balcony. Also had air conditioning and ceiling fan. Our host was super helpful and friendly. He helped us arrange taxi for airport drop, dolphin watching boat trip and rickshaws for visiting nearby beaches. We felt safe and in good hands.

We had an excellent stay at the Maria Guest House. The staff were accomadating and very helpful- planning trips for us and making sure that we were happy and comfortable throughout our stay. The menu ranged from simple familiar dishes to local Goan cuisine, and the kitchen staff were brilliant. Definately a good place to revisit!

Maria's is a fantastic place to stay, perfectly located near Palolem Beach but on the quieter, better side, with easy access to Patnem. The accommodations are clean and comfortable, and Rafiq is an attentive, discreet, and incredibly helpful host. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway! Amazing balcony. Big rooms. Nice lobby area. I keep coming back!

Great clean comfy room in a very pleasant hostel just minutes off the beach for a very reasonnable price. The staff is adorable. I stayed a week and it made me feel home, like I was part of a family. The owner was so kind and helpful in making me comfortable and bringing all I needed in the rooms, and giving me many tips to get by in the city. Highly highly recommend!

The hotel staff were exceptionally helpful, and we always felt very comfortable. We also received great tips about activities in and around Palolem. The room was fantastic, and the value for money is excellent. If you’re planning to visit Palolem, Maria Guest House is highly recommended

We loved our stay. The room was very spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Our host was very helpful and friendly. Games were provided too. The location was walking distance to the beach, as well as local cafes, and the restaurant below.
