The hostel is located just a few minutes from the town centre, so it was walkable at all times from there and back and only a few minutes away from the beach as well. Common area is very nice and the murals are vibrant, which gave the whole place a very cool vibe. The girl working at reception was kind enough to provide me with a lock for my locker, as I didn’t have one.

Staff and fellow travellers are very friendly, and it's easy to connect with. Also they have cool facilities such as a tennis table, chess, and pool table. Beds are also nice

Excellent property, the place is under new management and they are doing a great job! The hostel is very close to the Palolem/Patnem beaches! I made friends, partied and stayed for a lot longer than I initially intended.

Staff are friendly, the location is good, excellent sitting area to work or just chill, good AC in the room, comfy beds, a clothes line to hang your laundry. Had an issue in the nonAC room and staff moved us to AC right away. Music is good and usually quietly played daytime and loud for a few hours in the evening, with maybe a night or two into the later hours of the night. If you order from their kitchen, portions are a good size.

I loved my stay Mandala House, everything is peaceful/calm about the place! Right from hostel hygiene, the accessibility to the Palolem/Patnem beaches, the volunteers at the hostel; who are super chill/friendly! Shout out to Spandan, Sanjana, Nishant and Prashant bhai for the good work they’re doing for backpackers! Stayed for a week, lovely experience! Will be back soon!
