Kitchen, bedrooms and sitting room all clean. Property pictures were very accurate. Location was safe and had a nice vibe about it. No noisy neighbours. WiFi is a necessity as coverage is quite shaky- and the WiFi stayed on with no interruptions. The property was a large flat - even though the second room is a box room - quite a few utensils, such as colander, bottle opener, pots and pans. A few sundries were also provided, sachet milk, coffee and teas. Washing powder, washing up liquid and dishwasher soap was also provided! Shower was warm and quite powerful. TV although small had all channels including Netflix. Great location for amenities, clothing, food, and other essentials. But it is a 20 minute walk to the station - not 10 mins. You feel that extra 10 in the cold. Heating could be adjusted to desired temperature and then the flat was kept warm and cosy. (Although heating was put on before arrival). Can easily stay with / without the below issues. No hidden fees.

It was very close to 2 large supermarkets & 5 min walk to the bus stop which took us straight into the city centre and/or the railway station

Considering low standards of accommodation in the UK, this apartment was quite nice. Although it is located in the basement, it is a bright place overall. The floor in the bathroom is covered with a washable linoleum (thanks god it was not a wall to wall carpet, as this unhigienic feature is still quite common in the UK). Bathroom sink had a single faucet (instead of two separate ones that no person from a civilized world knows how to use). The kitchen is quite modern with a large sink and a new fridge. There was tea, coffee and milk, which was very nice. The apartment has a patio with a small grill. The furniture are quite nice and practical. The only issue is contact with the owners/management company that is only possible via e-mail/booking.com application. It was not possible to reach anyone over the phone. Nonetheless overall, a very nice place. A bit expensive, but worth staying, particularly with the family. Good recommendation!
