Shona really made us feel like home. We loved how she spent time to do up so much detailing in her home… the way she arranged the throws and we had the most comfortable stay. There were so many beds that my kids were eager to try a different one each night of our stay.

The location was outstanding. The views were exceptional and the house was remarkable. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I took beautiful photos of the sunset from the balcony.

It is a beautiful spot to stay and a great location from where to visit Hobbiton. Shona and Dave are wonderful hosts and made us feel so welcome.

Host was lovely and helpful. Views and setting were beautiful and private. Bathroom and kitchen area were great. Really clean, more so than most hotels!

It's a beautiful location with a stunning view of the surrounding rolling hills. The portacot had already been set up for our toddler and there were toddler-appropriate toys which was really appreciated (by us all!). The rooms were all really large and there were electric blankets provided. Breakfast provisions were provided as well as some pasta & pasta sauce which was so good because it meant we could just stay in for a meal, which after being in Auckland for 5 nights was just what we needed as a family. We felt really welcomed there and I wish we could have stayed for more than one night.

Beautifully clean, spacious and warm accommodation. Beds were very comfortable. Lovely friendly host. Everything provided for breakfast. Quiet country atmosphere. Excellent place to stay. Would love to stay here again.
