Breakfast was good and sufficient. The place was very quiet and peaceful. The atmosphere very relaxed, homey and comfortable. Interesting conversations with the host and other guests at breakfast time.

Generally the property was what we expected. We chose the property because it was between Cambridge and Milton, convenient for visiting family. Carlton Lodge is very well placed for bus users. The host is kind and approachable.

A friendly host and decent price. Modest but sufficient breakfast. Bus stops for several routes are within easy reach, as well as the river.

The location is ideal, only a short walk to the city centre but in an area that is relatively quiet and peaceful. The best part was Ciaran's service as host, as well as the lovely breakfast in the morning. He also provided tea and coffee in the room.
