Very friendly greeting on arrival followed by very friendly staff all night, many thanks to them all for helping to make our night- three couples all met up FOR 1 night stay at the hotel/pub and had excellent meal and drinks. Value for money was exceptional and everyone had a very comfortable nights sleep. Room facilities were decent with hot shower and despite misgivings very comfortable bed, plus as was very bad weather and cold heating in room was great.

Staff was very helpful and friendly and food was good. Room (twin) was small, with only room for a tiny desk to work on with a laptop and only a window in the roof, so that was the only downside, but perfectly clean and comfortable for a night stay. Thanks!

Good location for our requirements. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Evening meal was exceptional.
