Worth to stay there if you are a solo traveller and want to visit the city cheaply! A decent variety of breakfast options considering the price of a stay. IMO very good value! Room and toilets were clean; staff very lovely. Totally recommend! One thing that can be introduced - activities within the hostel. The staff mentioned that there’s something happening only on Wednesdays - wish there’d be something happening every day so I can socialise with others! ☺️

Had the top bunk in a mixed dorm. There was no plug socket on the top bunk and the bed side light provided was pretty ineffective. Staff were very friendly though and the facilities were good. Breakfast included is always a nice touch.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful, gave good advice. I missed while booking that breakfast is included and they informed me about it, which was great. The breakfast was also really good with pancakes, orange juice and some PBJ sandwiches. The locations is really good as it is close to the tram station and overall downtown area.

Good location, not far from the train station and bus station. I like the lounge area, very comfortable. I visited in Feb, the room was too hot, I had to open windows, but that was just me.

Very good location. Probably the best possible. Walking distance to public library or stampede grounds. The beds were actually very comfortable and security seemed to be a top priority. I did not feel unsafe at all considering we were downtown. I liked the breakfast. Wide variety of items...cereal toast waffles eggs and sliced ham with some fruit! It was filling and nutritious.

- The hostel is located at the edge of downtown Calgary, which is substantially advantageous in that harsh winter weather. - There is a kind of living room on the top floor, which is nice and cozy if you want to read something or wait for your mobile to be charged. - The TV room has a billiard table on the lower floor, where you can enjoy an evening. - The environmental temperature is as it should be; I didn't feel cold at all, even on that -18 degree.
