Location is really good, a lot of bars and restaurants around in Zamalek. Beautiful view of river on the rooftop restaurant. Breakfast was good.

A cute hotel with a nice view and spacious room. You are mostly paying for the view and the restaurant on the roof where they have a really good Egyptian breakfast. The hotel is small, and the reception a bit dark, but they try their best to welcome you. The main “service man” was very nice and polite, always asking if the room is okay and if you need anything. Most mornings he would do so by ringing the doorbell to my room at 9 am, so it might be a good idea to be firm on how you would like the interactions to be if you don’t like that. One thing i have learned in Egypt is that what you think is evident, might not be so for the locals here.. I read in the reviews that someone was bothered by the noise from the upstairs club, so I specified that i would like a room far away from the club. The hotel responded that the club closed many years ago.. I mean, that might be, but there is still a rooftop restaurant/lounge/bar where people go to eat and drink and they play loud music. However how you want to define the establishment, it’s still a place that plays music with a bass that can be heard in your room all night. The “establishment” is two floors up, and i think the noise might enter from the window.. I was too tired to be bothered, but if you’re a light sleeper you might reconsider this hotel. On my last morning i was awakened by a man with his bucket slamming on my window coughing and harking at 6.50 am because he was washing the windows.. it’s a job that needs to be done, but maybe not so early when you have hotel guests? Again, what is evident to you isn’t… I would say it’s a nice experience if you’re going to use the facilities (lie in bed and watch the view or enjoy it from the rooftop terrace), but you need to be easy going and understanding of things that other people might find annoying. The room is clean and the bed soft and comfortable.

We had a fantastic view over the river. The room was spacious and clean and the beds comfortable. I love that there was a kettle for making tea included. The restaurant has a fantastic view and outside patio. The staff was very supportive.

Ahmad in reception was really helpful and took care of our stay and helped with our tour operators. The river views are amazing, the size and cleanliness of the rooms were very good

Riverside hotel is the place to be while visiting Cairo. The view from the room is just amazing and the bed so comfortable. You have the nile just in front of you and a lot of cafe and restaurants nearby. The hotel is clean and the staff is very professional and friendly. Yasser, Ahmed and Mustapha are so helpful and provide all the informations you need. Yasser is very friendly, always smiling and very helpful. I really recommend this place.

Room is the same as in picture? The view is great. Hotel is clean and staff very polite. Located in a safe and quiet area. The restaurant in terrace has good views and good food (but slow service and expensive)
