Khan Duidar Inn is a great accommodation. The kindest staff that wants to make you feel at home. The view is great and you can have your breakfast looking at the pyramids.

The view of the pyramids Friendly and supporting staff- my wife's brought the wrong luggage key and we needed someone to break the lock and they did it at the spot. This definitely saved a lot of distress. They sent a person with me to take us to a laundry shop nearby. New Year's party had nice music and local show and local fireworks.. It's a 15 mins walk to entrance if the pyramid. Just use Google Maps. Scammers will try to stop you and guide you to the wrong ticket office intentionally, however just walk to Marriott Mena Hotel and keep walking the uphill road and you will reach the entrance to ticket office and main pyramid. Scammers will tell you to take Horse Cart and that you can't walk but don't let them fool you. You will be able to see the entrance from the rooftop of this residence. Don't order Uber to take you to entrance, all the Ubers we requested did not want to take us to that particular entrance as it is very near they would not make enough money from tourists. So just walk to the entrance. Furthermore you can walk around all the three pyramids and Sphinx, we had a 1.5yrs old baby with us and we walked and enjoyed There is a supermarket , ATM and bakery just outside the location so you will never have problem with anything. Just use Google maps.

The owner was extremely nice and open to any request from our side. Furthermore, the view was simply incredible.

The room is spacious, and all the accessories are great. Absolutely amazing view and staff, they are always there when we needed and they are super passionate. The entrance may seem a bit weird but once u get up to 13th floor it is a very clean and comfortable place. Breakfast is delicious with a lot of selection and different eggs to choose from. And the cats are very cute.

Ok so - great place. Great view- which is what you pay for. I don't agree with the amount I paid at all and location wise it was terrible. I was very nervous when I pulled up to a dirt track- but thanks to the view of the pyramids... it was made up. I didn't leave my hotel alone at all though and would say that this was a great room- in an awful location. It obviously don't match the ad for the room- as is always with Booking.com. I would stay again for a day to enjoy the views, at a MUCH lower price. Food was good and the staff really cared about me :)

I’m not gonna lie, it took me some convincing not to run away when the car first pulled up to the street. But God am I incredibly happy that I didn’t. Khan DuiDar Inn was the single best experience I’ve ever had at a hotel anywhere, period. Don’t get me wrong, the neighborhood is very safe, but it still gave me a first impression that doesn’t suit the beauty and hospitality of the Inn. From the first seconds in, the hotel staff helped with every single thing we could need. Any potential minor issues were solved immediately, and the staff was always incredibly happy to help. The room was perfectly clean, and the photos were quite accurate. And once we got to the terrace, the hotel jumped to a new level of perfect for us. The photos don’t do the view justice. The incredible pyramids lie in front of you, as though you could touch them if you wanted. We spent most our time in the terrace, and the hotel turned out to be the best part of our entire trip to Egypt. The breakfast was perfectly balanced between traditional Egyptian and more western dishes, and the food from the delivery menu (there’s no kitchen in the hotel after breakfast, only delivery) was delicious. This might be the third time I’m saying this, but I can’t stress enough how incredible the staff were. They helped us plan our Cairo itinerary, helped us arrange a car back to Alexandria, and they created kind and heartwarming moments and surprises for us at every corner. We genuinely felt at home at the Inn. TLDR: Once you get past the first shock of the elevator and the street (both of which are actually very safe), Khan DuiDar Inn will definitely be an unforgettably beautiful experience with its magnificent view, perfect staff, and home-like feel. I couldn’t recommend it any more strongly!
