The location is just in Cairo down town, very near to Nile river, Egyptian museum, Al Ahli exchange, Banks Restaurants, photo Studios, clinics and metro station is just 3 minutes walk that can take you anywhere in Cairo. I really felt I was connected with everywhere I want to go and if you want to compare the money value it was the best in price and money value in comparison to other category of cost saving hotels or hostels. Unlike other hotel I personally visited to have a look ,I can say the photos on booking.com for New Palace hotel are - almost - real. Stay in New palace Hotel, save your money.

The staff were very polite and always helpful and attentive, especially after an out of season thunderstorm flooded the hotel. All my washing was drenched and the manager rigged a line in his outer office and I had two fans blowing all night, one full throttle, to dry my clothes as I was leaving early the next day.
