The employees of this hostel are so nice and so welcoming! I felt good right away! Someone show me around, explained to me how things worked. I met so many nice people and I had such a nice NYE! I was worried to end up alone and see the fireworks alone but I met so many nice people so we all partied together. It was so much fun! The hostel itself is really nice, you have a game room and a cinema room, a nice kitchen to cook nice meal with free pasta, rice and oatmeal! My room was really nice as well. If I come back to Cairns for sure I'll come back here! Thank you again!

Never been in a hostel that felt more like home. Seriously homey vibes here, and all the events are meant to help your stay be easier and lighter. It's perfect if you wish to socialize without going fully crazy like a Gilligan's stay would. Facilities were well kept, an easy-to-use kitchen (which has FREE. PASTA.), and well suited whether you're staying there for months or just for a week. Bed and pillows were very comfortable too, and plenty of events & amenities that are both fun and also good to chill out at. I would choose this hostel again in a heartbeat.

Very convenient. Great location and price. Thank you very much...I had great experience. Also lockers available for each bed, just need to bring your small locker to put it in. If you forgot no problem to buy in Coles nearby. And your more expensive personal things are safe . But I didnt feel any risk of losing any things anyway cause all people accomodated and that time felt really respectful and mindful
