The two bedroom apartment on the ground floor opened up and had direct access onto the pool. Well appointed and very comfortable.

The apartments are big and well equipped. We had everything we needed for kitchen and laundry. Large balcony and rooms. Aircons worked and shower/bathroom was good. Beds were comfortable. 3 pools to choose from all close to apartments.

Two bedroom deluxe - layout was amazing! Super clean, lots of privacy. Two bathrooms was the absolute cherry on top. And the on-site Thai restaurant was super delicious and in a lovely setting. We saw lots of locals coming to dine as well, always a good sign! We didn't use the resort facilities but this place would be awesome for families with young kids - a couple of interesting ponds to check out, and heaps of pools.

The Lakes Resort is in a good location to the north of Cairns CBD and close to the airport. In a secure gated resort, with a selection of swimming pools and an onsite Thai restaurant. The one bedroom garden view room was comfortable.

Large appartment, bit dated, but had plenty of charm. The facilities were fantastic. 3 separate large pool areas. Beautifully maintained gardens and multiple water features. Would recommend.

The pools, grounds were all gorgeous. It was well maintained, easy access to town. Great value for money and plenty of room in the apartments.

We had an amazing stay at the lakes resort in October 2024. The pool water was heaven and so nice for the kids to play in! The only part was because it's so hot the air conditioner in the loungeroom didn't really keep the room cool but other than that we had an amazing stay and will definitely return!

The Apartment was 1012 and was very spacious. The pool was lovely and Thai restaurant at the entry was great. Having a washing machine and dryer was convenient and laundry powder packs were welcome
