Lodges Overview

Located in Cai Be, a river town along the Mekong River, The Durian Lodge at Mekong offers a contemporary Vietnamese fusion cuisine restaurant, operated by chef Loan Nguyen. The lodge has a variety of accommodation types for varying needs.
The lodge is about 150 metres from the famous Cai Be Floating Market. It is a 1.5-hour drive from Can Tho Airport. Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) is a 2.5-hour drive away, with hotel shuttle services available at a surcharge.
All accommodations are air-conditioned and provide guests with a patio and seating area. The rooms feature windows that look out into the garden and/or a durian tree plantation. The en suite bathrooms come equipped with a shower.
Other facilities offered at the property include gratuitous grocery deliveries and a tour desk. An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, such as boat touring, cycling, attending Vietnamese cooking classes and fishing your own catch-of-the-day.

The large panoramic ceiling-to-floor windows provide views of the garden and trees. The villa features indoor and outdoor dining and seating area. The Durian Lodge offers the opportunity to meet a hard working local family in a rural community surrounded by nature. Loan is an excellent host. She could not be more helpful. Her communication with us before and during our stay was very good. She is a good cook and her food is well presented. The bed was particularly comfortable.
