A divine little 2 story hotel in the heart of the old quarter of Cadiz l was there for 2 days during Carnival, which was fabulous with colourful costumes, and everyone was happy. I had a large interior room with a comfy double bed on the first floor. I was away from the street noise, so I slept very well at night, what with Carnival going on until the early hours. The bathroom was also large, modern with an excellent big shower and shower nozzle high up, which meant that at 6 foot, l could be drowned in water as l showered. Superb. On the 2nd floor is a little balcony with plants, a table/chairs which was nice. The hosts Jaime & Pablo were fantastic and gave me a myriad of information, maps, bar, and restaurant recommendations, which were extremely helpful.

The staff (Pablo and Jaime) wen above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and informed about the area. When we arrived, Pablo had a map prepared with the best locations marked for fried fish, fresh fish, tapas, drinks, and ice cream. He then went over the map with us indicating all of the local tourist/historical sites and their admission prices (and gave us a discount coupon for the tower). Jaime greeted us every day like we were family and had recommendations of his own for exploring the city.

I had an incredible stay in Cádiz! The location was perfect, close to the beach, the old town, and all the best spots. The room was spotless, cosy, and felt like home. A special shoutout to Jaime and Pablo, who went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. Their recommendations for local restaurants, attractions, and hidden gems were absolutely spot-on and made my trip so much better. They were so friendly and genuinely cared about making sure I had the best experience. I can’t wait to come back, the place is a gem!

Our stay at Dormir en Cádiz was excellent. Pablo was lovely - attentive, well informed and very helpful with all our queries. The room had everything we needed, and all the furniture and facilities were of high quality. Most important of all - the bed was incredibly comfortable :D we slept so well. Location was perfect. This place is excellent value for money. Would definitely stay again.
