Perfect location set in the rainforest just outside Byron Bay. Great pool. Fully functional kitchen is great for self-catering. A rental car is a good idea.

We love the restaurant but unfortunately due to my ill health we had to leave after only one night so we did not get to have a meal this time but we had dinned there quite a few times while traveling through. We will return as it is a unique and relaxing environment.

This was a unique resort set in the rainforest and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was excellent. We were upgraded to the Cypress building and it felt luxurious and roomy. If we were staying longer it had all of the amenities that you could wish for and could easily cater some meals for ourselves. I would love to come back for longer. The pool, bar and restaurant were great with our evening meal was especially delicious.

It was beautiful and relaxing. It was very clean and staff were accomodating when we asked for the single beds instead of the king bed we had originally asked for. The food at The Forest was the best food we had in Byron so will definitely recommend it
