The staff were great, especially the boys in the restaurant. I was solo and they kept me a very good company. A lot of laughs! The pool area is very nice.

To celebrate my mother's 80th birthday, our family of 15 (ages 10-80) travelled to Zanzibar and stayed at the Sahari Zanzibar. The hotel is located on the beach, and it was a unique experience to see the women dragging in the fishnets in the mornings, herds of cows strolling along the beach, and when evening falls and the temperature drops, the beach comes to life with locals strolling along and children playing. The hotel garden is beautiful, with a big friendly turtle wandering around. The hotel was not too big, the rooms were clean, and the food was good. The staff was friendly and helpful in every way. On December 24th, the hotel staff arranged an unforgettable snorkelling tour, and when we returned, a fantastic Christmas dinner was waiting for us. It was followed by a dance with the hotel staff family, which was the icing on the cake. I give Sahari Zanzibar my highest recommendation.

I had a great time at this hotel. The facilities, the staff, and the atmosphere were perfect. Every little detail is thought of. The room and the bed were the most comfortable. The breakfast was excellent

Raving review about this hotel which is one of the best I've stayed in. It is an oasis of peace and relaxation. The room was clean and cleaned each day, the garden is spectacular, the food delicious, the location right on the beach. One of it's best advantages is the staff, very welcoming and well prepared, ready anytime to meet your needs. They have made us feel at home and we thank them for this !

I have found my spot in paradise !!! I loved everything about this place. First and foremost it is the wonderful people working here… you feel like being part of a big happy family, they all chat with you and dance and smile … and everything in a very subtle way… respectful and kind, never intrusive. The entire structure is beautifully designed with a lot of attention to detail and the use of local materials. The pool is set within this secluded tropical garden, the views from your breakfast table to the tranquil beach are breathtaking… What I also loved that it is the perfect mixture of being on the sand and surrounded by sand but still with walkways and proper buildings, so you don’t have sand everywhere all the time . The rooms are spacious, cool and welcoming and with the best hot shower we had in all Tanzania … i And if you crave a bit more action , it is just a 5 min 5usd taxi drive away from busy Paje, or a 30min walk along the beach… for us the best location on the entire island as it combines so many aspects , the authentic local experience in Bewjuu , the calm and peace of an untouched beach and the laid back vibe of a (kite) surfing and village nearby , which is frequented by individual travelers and is far from the big hotel chains up north… Overall it is a true boutique hotel, calm and relaxed , and extremely authentic!! It felt like home and we will definitely will come back to this unique place
