Mamarasta was an absolutely wonderful place to stay! The atmosphere,the food, and the staff ware all Amazing and so kind. The other guests who stayed there were also incredibly charming and lovely people. Although I only stayed for two days , the time I spent on Zanzíbar Island and at this guesthouse was truly a happy and memorable experience for me. Even though my English wasn’t perfect , everyone was patient and took the time to listen to me. Thank you so much everything!

This place is an oasis full of very beautiful art and small well placed details. Just a short stroll from a nice local beach. The room is spacious, and there are nice hangout areas with hammocks. Mamarasta & Combo took very good care of us both as we were in a very bad flu during our stay there.

The place felt immediately safe and like home. Deco, garden and food was perfect. Very clean. Owners are very heartful people and are always ready to help. I would come back any time. Bjewuu is good spot for peaceful beach life and also near from Paje, where there is more services.

We planned to stay one night at Mamarasta, but we ended up to stay 3. Really nice and welcoming people, they gave us many tips during this time. Bwejuu is a calm village, authentic and far away from tourist crowds. From there we could also easily reach other nice places on the east coast. Totally reccomended! :)

Mamarastas Hostel is a hidden gem! It’s quiet, beautifully designed, and surrounded by nature. Just a 5-minute walk from the beach, it offers the perfect blend of relaxation and convenience. The food and drinks are top-notch, and the breakfast is simply amazing. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway!

Mamarastas place is just a little paradies. Plants, hammock, fireplace, places to relax. Mamarasta was very welcoming me and showed me around the island and gave me many advices. The breakfast was always fresh and very nice. One of the best things was the quiet and peaceful beach. This is a awesome place for coming down and enjoying the beauty of Zanzibar. Can’t wait to come back!
