Dating from the 1580’s, Hawthorn Farm Guest House is set in a Grade II listed house, 10 minutes’ walk from the centre of Buxton. It offers country-house style rooms and home-cooked food.
Rooms at Hawthorn Farm Guest House are located in the main building or the converted barn and farm buildings. They feature flat-screen TVs with digital radios, feature beds and bathrooms with free toiletries. All rooms have free Wi-Fi access.
The traditional dining room has original exposed wooden beams and serves cooked and continental breakfasts including yoghurts, muesli, cereals and jams.

We loved the history behind Hawthorn and well the owners knew about the property. We loved the breakfast that was included in the price, everything was cooked to perfection and the service was amazing. The owners were very well prepared for any questions we had about the area and places we could visit. The owners made us feel very welcome and the best part was bringing our dog along. We will definitely be back to stay.

Made to feel so welcome. Lovely food and choice for breakfast. Cosy little room tucked away in quiet little spot. Friendly and knowledgeable owners. Highly recommend and would love to visit again.

Amazing welcome when we arrived by the host, the room was so comfortable and cosy that we decided not to go to the Opera and instead had a relaxing evening. The breakfast was great in the old farm house, such as wide range of breakfast choices and cooked to perfection. We will be back it was excellent.

Beautiful setting, warm welcome, all the facilities we needed, convenient parking, well presented room and wonderful breakfast. Close to Buxton centre for a visit to bars and restaurants. Friendly and hospitable owners and a characterful old property.

A lovely little guest house walking distance from the main town which has plentiful outstanding food and drink options for lunch and evening meals. Breakfast was cooked fresh with a smile by the hosts who were friendly and attentive. The breakfast was delicious and so many options which would suit anyone's needs. nothing felt too much trouble. our room was warm and comfortable and homely. there were even Christmas decorations in our room which was a lovely touch. we wouldn't hesitate to book again.

The place was cosy and easily accessible. The room was very nicely decorated and got the homely feeling. Was clean and comfortable. The hosts Paul and Sarah are a very friendly and cheerful couple. The breakfasts were the best we ever had from any b&b stay. There were many breakfast choices to choose from. The quality of the breakfast was very yummy. Definitely a good choice for stay in Buxton.
