The property is all good and spacious. But whatmakes it exceptional are the staff of the hotel from the receptionist to bar tenders they were all nice and genuine. I forgot the name of the bartender but I would like to thank him as well as josh for making our stay exceptional!! Kuddos

The staff were accommodating and friendly, the views were amazing, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great, too; substantial and tasty.

Location: waking up with a view to the mountains and Lake Buttermere was very serene. It is in the middle of nowhere with some treacherous roads around, so you need a car and be secure enough to drive there. Staff: Front Reception and Restaurant staff very friendly and helpful. Room: As described and pictures were accurate. Very clean and cosy. Restaurant for Dinner: food was nice, enough on the plates and acceptable prices. Dogs welcome. Separate space to eat with dog: we had our dog with us and we had a separate area to eat.

Staff were beyond catering. The family room/apartment we had was a HUGE. Breakfast was nice. Right on the doorstep of a lovely little trail also.

Lovely king size bedroom and good views of the mountains. Staff were helpful and all friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious and the little extras were lovely, flapjack, fruit and cheeses to take away if going out on a walk. Highly recommend.

Very friendly staff. food was excellent. The snack buffet in the morning at reception is a brilliant idea to stock up before a day walking! 😁
